1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of this website (the "Site"), operated by Tejasvi Bhalla, a sole proprietor carrying on business as Hey! Fakira Collective ("Hey! Fakira", "we", "us"). By using the Site or booking a call, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Our content
The Site's text, logos, artwork, posters, stills, video and design belong to Hey! Fakira or to the filmmakers and rights holders we work with. You are welcome to view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, download, edit, reuse or redistribute its content, including our name and logos, without our written permission. For press or permission requests, email info@heyfakira.com.
3. Project information
Project descriptions, statuses, credits and timelines on the Site are for information only and may change at any time. Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell, or a request to buy, any investment or security. Any financing or partnership conversation happens privately and is governed only by a separate written agreement.
4. Booking a call
Booking. You can book an introductory call of up to 30 minutes through the Site, at no charge. Please give accurate information when you book.
What comes next. If we decide to work together after the call, the scope and terms are discussed directly and confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Rescheduling. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so the time can go to someone else.
Nature of our guidance. Calls offer creative, strategic and producing guidance based on our experience. They are not legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and we cannot guarantee any outcome, including funding, festival selection, distribution or sales. Please consult qualified professionals before making legal or financial decisions.
5. Materials you share with us
You keep full ownership of any script, idea, treatment or other material you share with us. We treat materials shared for a call as confidential, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We work with many writers and filmmakers and develop our own projects. Ideas, themes and premises often overlap in the film industry, so sharing material with us does not by itself create a partnership, a commission, or any obligation to pay or credit you for similar ideas we develop independently or receive from others. We do not accept unsolicited scripts outside of a booked call or an agreed submission.
6. Links to other sites
The Site links to third-party sites and tools, including our scheduling tool, IMDb and social media. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is." We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be complete, current or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hey! Fakira is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site, a call, or reliance on the Site's content.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site, with its "last updated" date, is the one that applies.
